How do you choose a family vacation when you are deciding between Southern and Northern California? I have a family with 2 tween boys that are trying to decide between the two places. Here are some highlights of each:
Southern California-
USS Midway Museum
San Diego Zoo/Balboa Park
La Jolla Cove-Sea lions
Legoland
Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve
Northern California-
The Exploratorium
Lombard Street
AT & T Park
Muir Woods
Golden Gate Bridge
Keep in mind, San Francisco is a bit colder and is more expensive than San Diego. The sites here are just a few examples of things to do and see for a family visiting. I have not yet included restaurants and hotels and details of these places. It is really a hard choice! What would you choose?
